How Scheduling Works for Vacation Rental Turnovers
We schedule from your booking calendar instead of a fixed weekly slot, so your cleanings follow your actual checkouts. Same-day turnovers are possible depending on availability. Send us your checkout and check-in times, and we’ll confirm what we can accommodate. You don’t need to be on site. Turnovers are set up to happen between guest stays with no host present.
What to Have Ready Before Your First Turnover
Every new host starts with a walkthrough with Donna. You show her how you want each room to look for guests, where supplies are kept, and anything specific to your property. Have these ready for that visit:
- Linens. We make beds with the linens you provide. Decide whether you want laundering added to your plan.
- Supplies. Tell us where toiletries, paper goods, and trash bags are kept for restocking.
- Access. Share your door code or lockbox details and any parking instructions. Summer parking in Belmar and Asbury Park can be tight.
- How the property should look. Photos of the rooms staged the way you want guests to find them are the quickest way to share your preferences. That includes pillow arrangement, welcome items, and thermostat settings.
Planning Your Turnover Season at the Jersey Shore
Shore rentals follow a calendar that inland properties don’t, and it helps to plan cleaning around it.
Peak season (Memorial Day through Labor Day). Belmar and Lake Como fill with summer renters, and many weekly rentals change over on the same day of the week. If your property books by the week in summer, set up your cleaning arrangements in the spring.
Spring and fall. Belmar’s St. Patrick’s Day parade fills local rentals in March, before beach season starts. Asbury Park’s music venues, restaurants, and boardwalk keep weekend bookings going in the spring and fall, so properties there see more frequent short stays outside of summer.
